Charlie Stone Memorial -2016
Vintage - A Team Race

An integral part of Western Australian aeromodelling since the early 1960's, Charlie was a modeller in the true sense of the word. He was competitive from the very beginning being part of the Nationals winning Class B teamrace team of Bertina/Stone in those early days. Charlie had interests in many aspects of our sport competing in F2B and Vintage aerobatics, Vintage team race (A &B) and even Peanut scale where his models were a thing of beauty. His many vintage models may be seen and admired on the Barton website. Charlie will be long remembered by the control-line fliers of Western Australia.
